Cake Yazdi is a traditional baked dessert that originated from the Yazd province of central Iran. Famous for its moistness and delicate flavors, in particular its balance of saffron, cardamom and Iranian rose water, Cake Yazdi is a national favorite. Enjoy one with a warm cup of tea!
We make our Cake Yazdi, affectionately also called Persian Love Cake, with whole wheat flour. Authentic Aashpazi Irani.
